"We did not like that we had to pay at check in before seeing the room. The room we were given was not cleaned and we were checking in after 9pm. The lady at the desk would not come and look at the room and see the state of it, would not give our money back as we wanted to leave. The solution was to send the cleaners to the room and clean the bathroom and wash the floor and the Manager would help us in the morning.
He was very apologetic and assured us he would have a new room ready by 3pm and...

"El mejor hotel en el que me he alojado en Europa. La piscina con vistas es increíble, la comida fabulosa y el personal super atento y servicial.
El gimnasio aunque pequeño es muy completo y tener parking en el mismo edificio ayuda mucho.
La limpieza excepcional aunque lo mejor de todo creo que sería el espectacular desayuno."
"The personal was outstanding! The rooms are clean and the housekeeping and breakfast were great. During the busy times the lounge chairs in the Pool are were quite occupied but you still found a free chair somewhere. I highly recommend this hotel."
"We stayed in Hotel Cavalieri at the end of August.
The best feature about the hotel was it's waterfront location where you could swim in the sea inside property buoy area.
This was a life saver as there was a heatwave and air conditioning in the hotel was minimal, we had to change rooms to one with slightly better ac ( temps got down to 80° so could sleep without sweating)
Our bathroom door was rotted at the base.
Some haphazard repairs were being done around the hotel eg at elevator area...
"The architecture & design of this boutique hotel is so typical and well located in the heart of Old Valetta. It very chic, quiet and extremely comfortable. The staff is very attentive and prompt. The included breakfast is excellent, try the eggs Benedict or the sweet french toast or the great creamy rich porridge. The perfect stay for a 4 days Valetta introduction. See you again soon!"
"Nice location, in the heart of St Julian’s, plenty of food and shops within a stones throw away. Breakfast wise no halal option, so not worth paying for if you require halal. Other then that do recommend 👍"
"Excellent service, front desk and housekeeping especially. Breakfast average by the range and price. Rooms very noisy, quality of sleeping very poor, even considering the use of the earplugs that the hotel provides to guests."
