"Stayed here numerous times and didn’t feel like our room was so good this time. We had room with free access to the 24/7 club room with drinks and snacks. However the night and next day the drinks all tasted like tonic water nothing had been changed or checked or had just been ignored. Not really any interaction with staff and just didn’t seem so special. Excellent location and it is a lovely hotel still and we would come again and hope next time would be more like the class we’ve previously...
"Generally a value-for-money hotel. While the public areas were immaculately maintained, the room we were given could benefit from a makeover. For example,the small seating unit was broken at its l-shape join. Also, an ironing board was provided, but no iron.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful, though a bit reminiscent of a roadside cafe ie not in-keeping with the hotel's image - though reasonable considering the price"
"The room was great for a short stay, however the reception staff (specifically blonde woman assisting with our check-in) was quite unpleasant. She behaved condescending, as if our arrival was an inconvenience to her- which made a very poor first impression."
"I’ve stayed here a few times. It’s in an excellent location close to the train station, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice."

"Never had the breakfast rooms clean bed comfy but the lifts where so slow to the point we had to start walking down 12 floors as one was out of order then when you do get the lift it’s going to every floors and everyone is cramped in not good."
"This is well-situated hotel close to the city centre. The staff were friendly, flexible and efficient. I had to delay my checkout for an hour and staff were most amenable. I’ve had better breakfasts but overall, I had a positive experience and will likely rebook the next time I am staying in Sheffield. Lastly, the hotel has a relationship with the car parking facility across the road and I paid £24 for two days and two nights. Big thumbs up."
