"Room clean but in need of a paint touch up and carpet cleaning. Lift broken on arrival day. Property can use a refreshing. Room view was as pictured on site. Bedding very comfortable. Suggest two luggage racks. Appears others have used and scratched the cocktail table. Breakfast was well done, dinner needs to be booked - do so before arrival if an early time is required. Would be nice to have tablecloths at dinner. Bar made a good cocktail. Great location."
"We really liked the hotel feel our twin room with ensuite had. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was a great selection of food in the kitchen for breakfast and we appreciated the complimentary coffees. Although we knew in advance about the bar downstairs, the only down side of the stay was that the music coming up through the floor was quite loud."
"We had a lovely two night stay at The Knipock Hotel. The staff were exceptional . The ambiance at the hotel was pleasing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thank you all so much."
"This property falls significantly short of its premium pricing and advertised standards. The website photos give a misleading representation. Upon arrival, the room exhibited severe maintenance issues: heavily stained carpeting, torn wallpaper, and yellowed skirting boards. Spare duvets were unceremoniously bundled into the wardrobe, making storage unusable. Furthermore, the bed consisted of two single beds not joined together, leaving a deep, uncomfortable gap down the middle. The bathroom...
"Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses.
And be warned, if you are on the top floor like we were, the sun shines on the sliding door all afternoon and into the evening, making the place...
"Clean and cosy room with tea/coffee making facilities and ensuite. We were on the second floor accessed by spiral stairwell.
Staff were extremely helpful.
Breakfast was across the road from accommodation in the tearoom. We had a delicious cooked breakfast. Continental breakfast also available.
Highly recommended"
"This hotel is not suitable for disabled people as there is no lift on the ground floor but there is one on the first floor. Over all speaking as a disabled person the value for the few days I spent there too high .would I return no"
"Lovely large room with great views. Bathroom had easy to use plumbing. The host was wonderful. The tv had streaming! The breakfast was delicious. It was our favorite stay in Scotland."
"Lovely little spot for a stay on Oban. We really enjoyed the comfortable stay and many recommendations for things to do in the region. Some miscommunication and late communication made a little hiccup to our first night without wifi access- otherwise all was good. Would stay again."
