"Lovely quiet property with friendly staff who were happy to book restaurants taxis etc. Pool was very small & really only suitable as a plunge rather than a swim. Breakfast was well presented with a good variety of products. The feature I was not happy with was checking in at an alternative guest house but no directions given on where it was. We were advised it was not safe to walk after dark necessitating taxi use. Plettenberg Bay has lovely beaches which are great to stroll along."

"Certainly one of the best accommodations I have stayed in. The location is quiet with a beautiful view. The lodge itself and the rooms are extremely nice with a cozy ambience. The owners were very friendly and gave us a lot of tips. We only stayed one night there but at the end we wished we could have stayed longer. "

"What a wonderful place this is.We had an apartment 206.Fully equipped with everything we needed.A beautiful view .Lovely views around the bar near the swimming pool.The staff here were excellent,nothing was too much trouble,The restaurant food is excellent and very resonably priced.SISSY IN THE RESTAURANT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND,what a wonder lady she is. "The property is like stepping into a luxurious game lodge from a bygone age yet you’re only 15 minutes from the town of Plettenberg and about 5 minutes to a wonderful stretch of beach just down the hill. However the facility itself is nearly new so it features all the modern conveniences to be had. Architects and interior designers will be fascinated by the attention to detail that went into the construction of this lodge. The grounds are extensive and include a horse stable and several paths, providing plenty of opportunity to take in some casual exercise in a wonderful secluded environment. The proprietors and staff were incredibly warm and friendly and the advice given made sure we got the most out of our 2 days there. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Crags. "
