"It was a lovely older building that was well maintained and had the best outdoor dining water-view. The dining/bar had great ambiance and the food was unique and delicious. They also had a free pickleball court usage near their property. The staff were happy and helpful. The only problem was a bit dampness feel to the room rug."
"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. Kitchen was very modern and well appointed with all the things to make for a relaxing stay. Lounge, bedrooms and...
"Great hotel on the edge of town centre so easy walk to restaurants.
One bedroom unit waa very spacious and is equipped with everything you need including kitchenette if you want to cook.
Parking no problem as all units have an allocated spot.
Would highly recommend."
"Love the breakfast and the discounts given for the children. Also love the pool area especially for families.
Room for improvements: Maybe provide a heated pool during Spring time so that we can make the most of our time there and also need to clean the rooms daily. The cleaners only cleaned on the first day. Without a valid reason, they stopped providing this service. I had to call the receptionist to come and clean/empty bins/provide new towels. Also, the TV system needs to upgraded with a...
"A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays.
Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."
"This was a clean, well maintained room in a conveniently located motel. Easy to find, parking available and all the attractions within walking distance. Owner was really helpful with booking local attractions and recommendations of good places to eat."
"We had a wonderful stay at Blue Pacific Apartments in Paihia and would happily stay here again. The apartment was comfortable, spacious and very well equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The beds were lovely and comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. The view was beautiful, too, and really added to our enjoyment of the stay.
We loved having a comfortable home away from home while exploring the Bay of Islands. The location...
"Wonderful place to stay in Kerikeri - ideally located near the historic end of town in close proximity to lovely walking tracks, sites of interest, and the plough and feather (a lovely gastropub). Beautiful property that makes you feel like you are up in the trees with tūī flitting outside the window and lovely views over the bush valley. Only about 4 rooms in the lodge, and while your room alone has everything you need, you also have shared access to an airy modern lounge, dining and full...
