"Decent hotel for the money. Pictures are deceiving. Pool has limited chairs. Did not eat at the hotel at all because there was always a faint smell of vomit. Room was old and needs updating. The housekeeper opened the door to the deck daily which made the room extremely hot upon entering and you are unable to leave on the air conditioning when you leave the room. The smallest shower I’ve ever seen with no wash rags available."

"We stayed at the Syntopia Hotel for our summer holiday. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they put in extra effort to get to know you and ensure you are having a lovely holiday. A few days into our holiday, they were automatically bringing our favourite drinks to our table at meal times which was very lovely! The food had such a good variety with a different focus every other night. We particularly enjoyed the Asian night. We would recommend staying at the Syntopia to everyone!"

The only complaint would be that dinner at 2 of the 4 restaurants felt a little like a conveyor belt where the priority seemed to be getting us fed and out as quickly as possible rather than having us enjoy the dining experience. "Just spent the last week at Petradi Beach Lounge Hotel and had the best experience! The rooms and beds were incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the pool and beach area were absolutely perfect. The best part, though, was the pool bar! Panos and Nikos were so friendly and welcoming, always helpful, made amazing drinks, and truly made Petradi feel less like a hotel and more like home. Can’t recommend this place enough — already can’t wait to come back!"

"We booked a room at the last minute. There will a little mix up upon arrival but the hotel upgraded us and bought us dinner to compensate us. Honestly, there was no need. The hotel was fabulous and the staff could not have been friendlier. The beach area was perfect and exactly what we wanted during our time in Greece. Rethymno is a lovely town and not nearly as busy as Chania, which made a huge difference. We would definitely go back to this hotel."
