"The room is spacious. However, the internal design was still the old fashioned type. Only one complimentary bottle of water per stay which is a bit disappointing. The fitness centre is small and connected with swimming pool and is quite hot. Not sure if there is air-conditioning or not and so you cannot exercise much. However, the staff are nice and friendly which i appreciate."
"A very good hotel which is handy for the airport, a large supermarket and eating opportunities. Spacious room with good seating, AC, shower and bath, kettle, shutters. Very pleasing breakfast but busy with families. We found both the hotel free shuttle from the airport and the local bus to Huningue (then walk over to Weil am Rhein) very useful."
"We first stayed at Hotel Bristol last August and had a very good experience, which is why I originally rated it 4 out of 5 stars. We returned twice this year, on our way to Italy and again on our journey home. Unfortunately, based on these two stays, I have lowered my rating to 2 stars.

"Air conditioning did not work and we tossed and turned all night due to extreme heat. Our flight to Switzerland was canceled and rescheduled for 24 hours later. I called as soon as this happened but since less than 24 hours, I now have to deal with insurance since Hotel D charged us for the night we were not able to stay anyway. The day we did arrive it was very hot and no AC. Location is pretty across the street from the river."
"Staff responded immediately for any of our concerns… it was 100° in Basel and the hotel did everything they could to keep the building cool. nobody in Switzerland could give us really strong air air-conditioning like we were used to at home."
