There’s free breakfast too. Near shopping complex just this one focused more on electronic products. Not something tourists will want to buy. Haha. Overall, I will stay in this hotel again. ❤️"

We didn’t eat due to our brief staff so cannot comment on the food at the restaurant. "The Borneo Eagle is an exclusive five star hotel - newly launched. The staff are excellent, facilities good - the only issue we had was the plethora of sand flies which caused a lot of issues sitting outside. We talked to the Manager about this and understand a machine is being shipped to deal with this issue - also the beach on the offside of the hotel was covered with plastic bottles and rubbish, which should be cleared on a daily basis to support the high quality nature of the hotel."
