"For a short city trip i like this hotel as staff is friendly and highlight of each stay as always the rooftop bar/restaurant. Breakfast was good, even always the same, but with the big variety you can always find something different. Only thing should be improved are the beds as mats are too soft and also the pillows."

"An extremely beautiful hotel, built of stone, in the Greek style. Resting here, it is as if you fall into an interesting story. All the staff, especially Helen and Yanis, are very friendly. The food is extremely tasty and varied. Many thanks to the cook. There was always hot water, the rooms were constantly cleaned .We are very satisfied with our vacation at Village Stone. We want to come back again."

"Really liked the hotel facilities. Food was really good, especially breakfast, and meat and desserts were delicious. Also had drinks on tap all day eg soft drinks and coffee. Staff were really helpful and efficient. Also area around the hotel was nice with several interesting shops and cafes in close proximity. "Booked as a last minute 3 night stay for my wife and I, having not been to Crete previously. The hotel was great. Large clean room with a sea view, 2 pools, a water park and plenty of sunbeds. There is also a reserved area on the beach for hotel guests with an all inclusive bar right next to it. The food was good, with plenty of choice. I would 100% recommend this hotel. We are already looking at returning again with our kids."
