"Amazing location. Incredible staff. I've stayed there before and even with 2 elevators, things can be slow given the number of guests and staff that use it. Now there is just 1 elevator so expect long delays or enjoy using the stairs for exercise. Otherwise I look forward to staying there again when I visit in August"

"We were upgraded to a wonderful bright 2 bedroom corner apartment in a quiet location, with lots of windows. We really appreciated the extra space. The location was an easy walk to the Royal mile (about 20 minutes), the castle, and major sites. It was also an easy and short walk to the Haymarket bus and train terminals. "Our entire family stayed at the voco Edinburgh Royal Terrace on the front and back end of a ten day trip through Scotland. We really enjoyed this property and would definitely stay there again. Lovely, quiet street, walkable to historic city center, large comfortable rooms, some with gorgeous garden views, wonderful breakfast and bar. Staff was very helpful all the time, with Lewis being a particular favorite. :) Overall a great choice for a visit to incredible Edinburgh."

"The room was modern and clean, however, the shower in the bathroom was a concern. Getting into the shower required stepping over a high tub which can be difficult for seniors. There is a glass partition which was not secure (hinged) and felt like it would swing out if you accidently leaned on it. Not the safest bathroom I have been in."
