"The location for us was great! You could walk across the street to Ralph’s for floaties and booze and to several different brunch spots! A Uber got you to the main drag if you wanted to go. Check in was smooth and our rooms were ready early. The Drag Brunch was super fun and the Saturday pool party was awesome! The toilet paper is HORRIBLE and they nickel and dime you on the mini bar so BE CAREFUL. We noticed things weren’t the same between rooms and then one room was charged for things unknown...

"I imagine that the concept for this resort is "upscale motel". Honestly, that's what it is. Taking the old motel concept, giving it a huge make over, re-marketing it as a resort. The grounds are like a sprawling campus. Buildings beyond walking distance from the main lobby and pool, restaurant etc. There are other pools available to each block of rooms. "Absolutely loved this boutique hotel, such a great aesthetic and feels like a very cool vibe. The room was decorated lovely and had everything we needed. The staff were lovely and helpful, pool area was great and loved that they had some pool side games like ping pong. I do think the pool could have been a bit cleaner but overall great stay - would recommend and come back!"

"This hotel is all about Location! If you want to be close to the shopping and restaurants of El Paseo, then, this is your place! Nothing spectacular about the rooms, but they are nice, clean and comfortable. The Larkspur Grill is nice to have on site and there is a little cafe that makes excellent Lattes! "It was a very quick overnight stay for us, so overall the hotel was fine. Clean, quiet ... fine. There were two things that were really weird ... 1. When we walked into the room for the first time, everything in the room that could be on, was on at full blast.
