Lucky that we stayed at the same level of reception, I can’t imagine if we need to take the luggages to upstairs. "

"We stayed at Hotel Podhrad to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is on th the expensive side, but in line with the surrounding options. The parking areas available are scattered around, so be prepared to walk a bit in case the adjacent parking spots are taken. The included breakfast was okay, but a bit lacking compared to other hotels we've been to in the Czech Republic. "We stayed here for a wedding at The State Chateau of Hluboka. The room was spacious, breakfast was good (basic), and the grounds were lovely to walk around. The big negative we experienced was when ordering a taxi at reception to the train station, they had said they ordered a taxi and an older lady turned up in her personal car which was not a metered taxi. We got ripped off and had to dip into the cash reserves as didn’t have the energy or time to argue, it was very disappointing the hotel...

"The hotel was clean and everyone was freindly, however we were a group of 3 and only 2 blanket’s and 2 pillows was ready in the room, we had to ask for these items. Ask for extra pillows but did not provide"

"We arrived by regional bus, walked into the town and easily located the hotel. They were accommodating to let us store our backpacks until check-in hour later. We found our own breakfast in the town center and they again stored our bags after checking out. The hotel is small, quaint, and homey. It was a nice experience away from Prague for a night."
