"Great location near the train station. Room was small, but bathroom was exceptionally nice. Breakfast was okay and staff was very friendly. Gym is very small. Front desk was exceptionally clueless about things like getting a museumkaart as a non-resident and were very slow to react when I lost power to my room. Yes, you can buy a museumkaart at the Rijksmuseum."
"We stayed here for 5 nights and it was one of three hotels we stayed at during our trip. It was the most spacious room. It was a suite for three people on the top floor. It was nice having a bar with a view and the bartender was great. The room was clean where it was important but not well maintained or deep cleaned. It looked like nobody had detailed cleaned the room in a long time. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was great. The shower had water pressure and got hot quickly...
"The Apollo Hotel Amsterdam is NOT a four-star hotel. It’s a three-star hotel. The infrastructure is old and some essential things do not work well.
What’s more important is that they have many poorly trained and incompetent staff."

The beds were comfy, the room was so lovely and clean.
Really quiet rooms with a good shower.
There was a fan in the room and tea making facilities. Tap water is drinkable.
We didnt eat there but the drinks were nice in the bar

"Very nice hotel. Only issue was the heating/ a/c - we didn’t know a remote was used for a/c, so 1st day we were exhausted and the room temperature was very hot. We got the maintenance man to come help and he showed us how to work remote. He was very helpful and room temperature went way down! Also didn’t like the huge bathroom door- was very heavy and kept running into door or shower glass wall. But otherwise everything was good!"
