"Free parking right in front of hotel. Elevator, wifi, and breakfast included. There was a lot of construction around the hotel's area, so it was noisy. No air conditioning. Location was pretty central, but construction made it hard to get to. Breakfast staff wasn't friendly, but the late night gaurd and morning receptionist were very sociable and pleasant. Not a great breakfast selection. Big room. I must have gotten the handicap room because my bathroom was interesting to say the least. There...

"Do not hesitate to stay here. The property is as nice as described. A couple of things to note, should you decide to stay. If you travel by car and need a place to park, park in Parking Lot 1 for the Castle. You can park there overnight and walk a short distance over the bridge to the apartments. Also, Google Maps does a lousy job of routing you. Go to the Castle parking lot and walk. Next, the property does a good job of giving you the code you need to get in. "We stayed at Hotel Podhrad to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is on th the expensive side, but in line with the surrounding options. The parking areas available are scattered around, so be prepared to walk a bit in case the adjacent parking spots are taken. "We arrived by regional bus, walked into the town and easily located the hotel. They were accommodating to let us store our backpacks until check-in hour later. We found our own breakfast in the town center and they again stored our bags after checking out. The hotel is small, quaint, and homey. It was a nice experience away from Prague for a night."
