"A good hotel with a nice bar and decent restaurant on site. Expensive food and drinks, but expected. The train station is right out of the front door, which is convenient. There are plenty of dining options in the area within walking distance of you want to sample locally. The hot water went out on my last morning and wasn’t restored by the time I checked out. "

"Was the Amber Hotel until August. Will be refurbished soon. Currently a little outdated but kept very clean with all the usual bathroom complementaries. Friendly helpful staff in all areas. Receptionists fluent in English. Bottle of water each day and silent fridge. Parking outside but there is a charge, and hotel is right on the edge of the central park Window rattled when on latch and building site over the road started at 7.30am so disturbed sleep but not the hotels fault. Breakfast €12...

"Room was spacious and clean. Bed and linen very clean, Very good breakfast. Parking in the garage very convenient We just prefer showers to bathtubs A perfect stay if you don't want to be in the city and enjoy nature instead"

"The hotel was just fine, kept clean and up to date. There was a good fitness area too. The room was large, with a security safe. The staff were excellent: friendly, professional, helpful. The parking is free and accommodates about 40 cars. The only downside to the hotel is that it's in a dull area on the edge of Herrenberg - though only 10 mins walk into town."

"My experience at their restaurant was so bad that I am considering calling the German authorities to check their kitchen. My dinner was a disaster, twice did the burger come in raw, and when I found hair in my salad I got enough. No understanding from the staff. Since you are dependent on eating here since no other restaurants in the area I can’t recommend this hotel to anybody"
