"What a great location. We had a mid-morning flight so dropped car off at Gatwick South valet parking then a short walk through internal corridors to hotel. Brilliant sound proof room, comfy bed so had a great night’s sleep and then a short walk through to departures. Dream start to holiday"

"Sofitel Gatwick starts off a trip in the best way if you have a super early flight Staff are friendly, polite and helpful The beds are so comfy, lovely toiletries and facilities We always use it now and will be back again soon"

"We liked the design of the rooms and being able to store our luggage in advance of checkin so we could explore the area. It was very convenient to get the bus to/from the airport to the hotel (not free). Our only negative was that we could not get the room cooled enough. I would still recommend it."

The swimming pool was not fully usable during our stay, which was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. Our room was booked for three guests, but it was only prepared for two. Basic items were missing and not set up correctly.
