"We stayed at Hotel Alda back in 2022 and enjoyed it so much that we came back again in 2025. It's such a delightful boutique hotel with a terrific staff. We had a small problem with our TV set and the staff upgraded us to the same suite-type room that we stayed in before with a great look out at the wonderful view of Reykjavik. Alda is really convenient to the bus station as well as all the stores/restaurants. It also just feels cozy with couches in the lobby and the Brass restaurant built right in. Good buffet as well (esp. for Brits) for breakfast. The skyr is off the hook. "
