"We loved the location of Leonardo Royal and the staff. Hotel is a 10 minute walk (with luggage) from the main train station. There are steps and a passageway right thru the property leading up to The High Street, which has numerous restaurants, pubs, churches, and at the top, Edinburgh Castle - all walking distance. Staff were wonderful, stored our luggage until check in, offered directions and dining suggestions. Would stay here again."

"Nice hotel rooms but not a lot of space"

"Rooms were comfortable and clean. Service staff good at their jobs. The only issue was the TV in the room had no signal and although we mentioned it , nothing was done. "

"Hotel in general need of a ‘spruce up’, noisy and the breakfast staff weren’t the most helpful. However check in/reception was excellent, the Arran products were lovely, bar staff great and the parking was the main feature. It’s in a gorgeous location and is overall a great hotel. "Great for families! We booked a Superior Deluxe room for 2 adults and 2 kids but we were upgraded to an executive suite on arrival free of charge. This meant we didn’t have to pay the £12 parking charge and you get a complimentary drink each. The staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very large. The views are nothing special. We were looking at KFC! But that’s expected considering the area location. The pool was clean and heated, perfect for the kids and...
