"The location is amazing! It has both stunning views of lake on one side and mountains on the other side. The room was clean, well set, fresh smell and well set. Restaurant was top notch! Their Breakfast offerings have both cold and hot stations. They had fresh fruits and fresh veggies. Their morning chef Daniel was very accommodating in their Omelette Station and Finally the view from the Restaurant is to die for! Highly Recommended."

"This property was nice and clean to stay at, obviously about 50 years out of date and in the middle of nowhere but it was priced fairly well. There is literally nothing around this hotel but it is a great stopping place, nice and quiet. As for the 4-star rating that is not true. First time i got into one of the beds the wooden slats underneath broke and i had to fix it and you can hear everything going on in the rooms beside you because the walls are paper thin. "We had a great, relaxing time. The Spa areas and breakfast were wonderful."

"The staff/owner, very friendly. The hotel doesn’t have a lift, which was difficult for me. I tried the jacuzzi tub and the most foul smell came out of the water; couldn’t use it. I should have taken a picture, but the bed had torn foam misfitting sheets or topper. Location is good, especially from the train station."

"Nice place with friendly staff. The lack of AC on hot days was only mitigated by a fan. The parking was difficult , but they were very accommodating for an old driver with the best spot. The nature around and the lake are spectacular and I highly recommend it for a vacation. "

"This Hotel is suffering from a lack of personnel. I arrived at the hotel prior to the stated check-in time, however was surprised to find that there was no receptionist and the hotel was completely closed. Calling the phone number on the door didn't resolve anything as it went to a voicemail box. "A very friendly “family” hotel where all staff were very friendly and helpful. It also helped that the Town of Strobl has a friendly vibe with everyone out to help visitors have a great time - I certainly did!"
