"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room is comfortable, though not large. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Restaurant meals were reasonable and well prepared. Wish we could have stayed longer, but used the hotel as a base to get a flight home."

The family room was very comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids, and our kids liked having their own room with a bunkbed. We liked the historical building, and the location within walking distance of the castle, the train station, and restaurants."

"Check in took a while as reception was dealing with awkward customer on the phone. Room spacious and clean with ample power and usb points. Good shower. Reasonable menu although it seemed more limited than last year so when staying 4 nights this may be an issue. That being said plenty of other dining options within walking distance. Ample parking."

"The hotel was well located and check-in was easy enough in the pub next door, if a little slow. The location was quiet too. We were above the main entrance to the hotel and did have the noise and vibration of the door shutting but it wasn't that bad. It is within walking distance of shopping centres and supermarkets which was really convenient. There was plenty of free parking. It felt secure as the access was locked anyone without a room key.
