"We really enjoyed Athlone and the hotel is located right on the water. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Parking was a bit crowded when we arrived on Saturday but was better on Sunday. The service in the hotel restaurant needs improvement. Lots of really nice workers but disorganization was evident. The room was fine, but needs some details fixed like wires hanging out of wall. "

"Our room is located older part of the hotel so the room itself is a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and check in and out is fast, easy and efficient."

"Thisnis our second time at this hotel and time has stood still. The hotel has great staff and service but is probably in need of a revamp. The breakfast is one of the poorest i have had selection wise but the little selection they had was of good quality. The pool and leisure facilites are good and the restaurant food was top notch. "
