"The food at the restaurant was terrible. I ordered a bottle of wine and they sent another that was 3 times the price without telling me. They threw us out because they said they had to set up for breakfast while they had other tables still sitting. We were still drinking our wine. The only person that was nice at this place was the person at reception. "

"We stayed here in October for 3 nights. Check in was not very friendly at all. I had to ask about the parking as we had parked on the road and she said it was at another hotel when it says they have parking on site. I had to ask about breakfast, when and where it was and then we get to our room and there is no information about a wifi code. I called the receptionist and she said there isn't one, just look for the hotel's name as an option in the choices of networks. There was no restaurant open...

"L'hotel è un po' vecchio, sia esternamente che internamente. Credo che questo sia il motivo per cui i prezzi risultano accessibili anche in alta stagione. L'accoglienza è stata ottima. La colazione buona. L'aria condizionata non funzionava in modo adeguato per cui in camera faceva caldo. La mia impressione è stata che il livello di servizio venga tenuto al minimo indispensabile per mantenere le 4 stelle Per usufruire della SPA si devono pagare 25€ a testa. "

"We stayed in a basic room for 4 nights. The rooms itself was probably the smallest we've ever stayed in and was very simple (no kettle, bedside table etc). However, it was in a really nice location, within walking distance (15 mins) from the hubbub, but in a quiet location and was really clean. We usually use earplugs when away but we didn't need to here! Amazing! Check-in/out was super speedy and the pool was a delight after a long day of sightseeing. "Bed was very hard. I did ask for a mattress topper but it was so thin that it made no difference. Paper cups in the room were disappointing. Would have expected proper cups given that we had tea and coffee making facilities. Glasses for water were also plastic. Tea and coffee were not replenished each day. Nor was the water. Only allowed for one day of your stay! The balcony was different to the photo and also close to a busy road so not relaxing. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety....

"The hotel is very clean. The staff is very well informed and polite. The spa is fabulous. The breakfast is buffet style with a large assortment of items.The overall appearance and the public rooms are quite elegant. This was my second stay."

"We stayed in a separate building adjacent to main hotel so didn’t really have much to do with staff etc. our room was fine, clean, comfy beds and plenty of storage. The area was really good, plenty of nice restaurants & cafes. Train stations in walking distance. Plenty of shops around. Had breakfast in cafe next door Cafe Salute, croissants and drink for around £3, excellent value"
