"Nice and newly renovated property. Not too far from town, but not walking distance. We took taxis and the water taxi a couple times. Only disappointment was our rooms that had children booked in each were not placed on the same floor. I think they could’ve made a greater effort to ensure this since we booked well in advance. Pool side service also lacked enthusiasm but the bar was near enough that this wasn’t a great inconvenience. Would stay there again."

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Close to bus stop 23 and for 3 euros you can get to Skiathos town and the airport. Bus can be very busy at peak times. "The hotel is situated on the side of a hill which offers great panoramic views across the bay. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs. We had a room which also included a shared pool with an adjoining appointment. The room itself was nice, It was clean and comfortable. The children were sleeping on the mezzanine above us which worked well however had caution younger children using...

"Wij waren de laatste week van september in Kanapitsa Mare. Wij vonden het een matig hotel Sfeerloos, dode planten in bloempotten, TV zenders alleen Grieks, diverse lampen in kamers en gangen defect. In een brandslang zat zelfs een scheur, gemeld maar er werd niets aan gedaan. Een lik verf op al het houtwerk van het hotel is niet overbodig. Het hotel heeft 2 liften, 0 naar 3 en 3 naar 6.
