"Bed could of been better and air con smelt a bit musty (but that's FNQ for you i guess)
Property was really neat and tidy and made our stay really comfortable.

"This property feels dated. The rooms at the back of the property feel like you are in the basement. The family rooms may be more pleasant but as a solo traveller it felt like staying in an outdated basement room. Walking past the bin store and maintenance area didn’t give any feeling of comfort.
This is definitely a family hotel. Not ideal for solo travellers.
The hotel is 15 mins walk out of town. For a solo travellers it may be better to try one in the centre.

Highlights were the amazing pool, the food in the restaurant (particularly the Indonesian night), the big rooms (although dated), beautiful trees and the rainforest walk through. "Location was excellent, rooms are smaller than they look, with no where to sit other than the bed and all look into each other. Receptionist was super helpful and accommodating. Bed was very hard. Pool was lovely, if you are wanting to sunbath you need to go to the beach as only few sunbeds and the building shades a lot."

"Stayed in a studio facing the street behind, fairly noisy. Spa has had its day, water cold before finished filling. Beds comfortable enough. There are dvds to borrow downstairs however the batteries in our dvd player had rusted/iodised into the remote and we couldn’t use it.
One thing to mention if you’re wanting a quiet day by the pool, the constant waterfall into the pool is actually very noisy! First world problem but annoying if you like quiet."
"There is no better location in Port Douglas . Our room overlooked the beautiful beach and we could walk everywhere to shops and restaurants.
The room is spacious with simple furniture but a comfy bed. The property is due to a renovation but I have no regrets since we had a wonderful time. "It was in a good spot for easy access to the shops and also to the beach, though it took a bit of walking. It was very comfortable and had a washing machine and dryer just outside our door, which was handy. Small things were that one of the chair seats was a bit loose and the blind at the window became stuck. Otherwise it was a great place to stay."
"Not a bad place to stay just lacking a lot of things such as pool side bathrooms and onsite restaurants etc. For a two bedroom room there is only one bathroom which really isn’t practical for 4 adults (only one towel rack and no space to place anything on the bench top). Also no dryer in the room and you are for some very strange reason not welcome to use the balcony to dry your clothes .. hard when they don’t provide any house keeping either ! Just much too difficult with kids so if you are...
"We stayed in room 1207. It was very, musty and damp smelling. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and as it costs $20 to replace towels they were wet for our stay unless you wanted to do washing. The kitchen amenities were extremely basic and the TV postion is not viewable from bed..... something that is nice when having a Nana nap on holidays. The outdoor spa wasn't clean.
There was 2 cheap broken hair dryers in the bathroom and with so much water on the floor it didn't feel safe to use...
"Excellent room, lovely pool and location was great. Only strange thing with my room was it's connected to the neighbours with a locked door, which must be hollow because all noises passed straight through.
Still a great place to stay and would recommend it."
