If you are a frequent traveler, you probably have have experienced the catfish aspect of a property posting it's unrealistically beautiful pictures on these platforms. Riad Mazar Fes is the exception. Pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this exceptionally build and meticulously maintained riad. And that is not the best thing about it. "Our room was perpetually damp. The sheets and the pillow were always damp. The AC seemed to not work or help with the problem (although we didn’t ask about fixing it bc it took a while to realize the problem). The fan in the bathroom didn’t help much either. "The staff were so hospitable - everyone was more than welcoming & helpful. The hammam was a highlight & well worth paying for. Beautiful breakfast. They helped give us recommendations & sorted us with a taxi. Samir, Samira and Abdelaziz were lovely & we would recommend to anyone staying in Fez 🙏"
