"The hotel staff, above everything else, was exceptional. The best part of our group's stay.
We had thirty members of our group stay at Mirasole for a five-day reunion. It became our base of operations. Of course, there were unplanned changes in schedule and special requests, but in every instance the Mirasole staff response was above and beyond our expectations. From Daniela, the Manager, to Silvia and Federica at the reception desk, to Francesco and Rino and the wait staff, it was truly a team...
"The property is an old nunnery and the rooms are compact and the doors are loud when people leave in the morning. The beds and pillows are super hard. At least the rooms are air conditioned. It is 2 miles away from the historic, old city that is worth driving to and walking around. This area of the hotel is not worth exploring by foot. However, the breakfast was included in the room rate and was a 9 out of 10 served outside at the outdoor pavilion near the pool. We did not have dinner on...
Bagno...
"Poor signage on street, hard to find hotel . As usual Expedia shows one room and what we are given is not the same level. This room was dark and looked out to a paint worn patio wall, depressing.Went to the front desk to change . The staff was dismissive.Told us to wait for the night manager. He arrived...rude ...huffed and puffed ...showed us another ( downgraded) room , more of a cell vibe. We went back to front desk. I THOUGHT he was looking for another room . My husband and I sat in the...
"My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Plana and had a fantastic experience. We were visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta, and the hotel’s location couldn’t have been more convenient. Having on-site parking also gave us great peace of mind.
From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Although we arrived a little earlier than expected, they kindly accommodated us and made sure we could check in right away.
Our room was spacious and Housekeeping did...
"Wonderful staff, and beautiful property. Would definitely stay there again!
Luisa and Ivo
Grazie mille a tutti a Villa Maria Teresa per un bellisimo soggiorno !"
"It was very clean and the staff were wonderful considering that in this massive hotel we 6 people in my group were the only occupants! Sort of felt like the hotel in The Shining! We were told we were the last guests before it is turned into a college campus. Not sure if this is true or not. There was not a king size bed anywhere in this “hotel” and my upgraded room had a view of the dead trees and plants in the courtyard. No pool and all gym equipment had been removed.
I can’t express enough...
"The location of the hotel is impossible to get to from public transport, requiring a (overpriced) taxi or hire car to reach or leave. Don't trust the local public transport app's directions as we were sent down a secluded lane which couldn't be used to access the hotel. The pool and view was lovely, and the food was generally good. The room was outdated but functional and generally clean apart from some mould in the bathroom. When we stayed, there was a party, then a live band in the evenings,...
"I really liked these for a budget property: the outdoor pool area, the helpful staff, the air con, a fridge in the room, a reasonable breakfast selection with a couple of warm things available when brought out at 0700.
Of note: the supermarket is 1 km away and there are few amenities nearby. There is a bus along the coast and then to the train at Licola (destination Naples). The bus goes roughly once an hour but the timetable is erratic and adherence to it is too.
Even better if: the beds and...
