"All very good, one small issue with full payment being taken before we arrived on site to check in, this did save time but I thought the payment would be taken during check in. Otherwise a great place to stay and close to amenities at Malton so overall very happy "

"This was our first stay at Gisborough Hall Hotel due to attending a wedding at the hotel. The hotel is set in magnificent grounds and from your first contact with reception, all staff are excellent and a credit to the management. Room was clean and ready. As per the brochure pictures. We had lunch in the De Brus Grill and the food was first class. Prices are a bit on the high side but it is a top hotel after all. Breakfast was exceptional. The bed in the room was like sleeping on a marshmallow. The best hotel bed I have ever slep in from visiting many hotels here and overseas. The Lord of the manor visited around the guests and it was a great experience to speak to him in person. He plays the piano in the Hotel in the evenings. And he is 98 years old. An exceptional gentleman. Biggest bonus for the hotel is the staff. Nothing is a problem to them. Polite and friendly with a sense of humour added in. A great weekend for us. I would visit this hotel again."
