"Our first impression of this hotel was not so good... a hotel built in the 1990s with a somewhat strange layout and in need of modernization. It’s definitely not a 4-* hotel. However, first impressions can be wrong. The spa in a separate building was quite amazing and the best after a day of skiing or hiking. Dinner on the top floor was very good and staff was very attentive. Not our first choice for a holiday but for a stopover this hotel was quite OK."

"We had never been to Saas-Fee. We choose Hotel Allallin because it is close to bus station. When we arrived the hostess was so helpful. We told her we wanted to hike. She gave us good directions. She gave us the Saas Tal card which gave us free use of the cable cars. She suggested that we should have time that afternoon to do a second hike."

"Disappointing experience. No wifi. Neither in rooms (!), nor in the lobby of the hotel next to. No coffee/tea. No parking close by, although they put “the parking available”. No lobby, no reception desk in the hotel (they use the reception in the neighbor hotel. Poor service "

Spa is nice. Breakfast was good and breakfast and cleaning staff are excellent. Shared kitchenette space with mini fridge, microwave, and drinks and snacks for purchase. Concierge fell flat with poor guidance and misinformation. (Closest bus stop, ski area opening times, etc). Provided ride to and from parking."

"Lovely traditional family run hotel. Full of charm and history everything is fine sedately and in keeping with the owners vision of a home from home for the residents. For us it felt a little too formal at times and we only had dinner once, preferring the more casual style of some the valley's other restaurants. The food was good though. Breakfast was the only exception...a bit of a scrum most mornings with popular choices often running out."
