"The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very close to Old Town Chania so you can get there in a short walk but have the benefit of a quieter neighborhood and still a nice view of the Mediterranean."
"Very well located hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, could have had greater variety of breads, hot dishes and juices. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only downside was that the aircon had been switched off all over the hotel so had to keep windows open which meant there was a lot of noise from the street.
Two of the rooms had sinks outside the bathroom"
"Our room was clean and spacious with a great view to the water. Our room was cleaned every day and there was plenty of parking available. Not sure what it looks like during the busy season though. The pool was nice but the water was cold. The pool is definitely not heated! Staff was friendly. We booked all inclusive. The food was ok but not exceptional. "My husband and I stayed at Avra Hotel for four nights and had a wonderful experience. Our room was comfortable, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The only drawback was the limited parking available on the property.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Old Town, and some street parking is available nearby."
"Decent hotel for the money. Pictures are deceiving. Pool has limited chairs. Did not eat at the hotel at all because there was always a faint smell of vomit. Room was old and needs updating. The housekeeper opened the door to the deck daily which made the room extremely hot upon entering and you are unable to leave on the air conditioning when you leave the room. The smallest shower I’ve ever seen with no wash rags available."
"Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Moderne und saubere Zimmer und Strand in wenigen Metern fußläufig. Zudem besteht ein eigener Strandabteil mit kostenlosen Liegen ein paar Meter weiter."
"Hotel meraviglioso. Posizione perfetta, nel centro di Chania ma fuori dal rumore e dalla ressa. Personale e servizi eccellenti. Colazione fantastica."
"This was our second visit to Atlantica Amalthia. Very nice hotel. Everywhere was very clean, our room was a good size (we had a room in the building on the beach side) with nice balcony. Nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast room was nice and good choice of food.
Very well kept beach.
All of the staff were first class. So friendly, polite and extremely helpful.
Visited the spa and had two massages during my stay and both were very nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend. Reasonable...
