"Property was okay, only reason it doesn’t get a 5 or 4 is that it’s a bit too expensive for what you get. Room type was not available but check with n. Person sorted it smoothly 👍😀. Breakfast was mad busy and not big enough for the amount of people, it was limited but very tasty. Bed was super comfy though. Again nothing in particular inherently wrong just a bit too expensive"
"Very disappointed in the breakfast,I thought when I paid for breakfast separate I thought it would be a hearty breakfast so imagine the surprise when I was offered cereal and one small glass of orange juice I paid for this break for my daughters birthday, wishing I had used somewhere else now."
"Beautiful hotel in areas but if you’re planning to stay here with a baby or you are a wheelchair user I’d maybe think again! This hotel is not accessible at all, it’s quite old so has narrow corridors, lots of heavy doors that are shut between corridors & we were put in a room that had no lift access & was at top of a narrow steep staircase - it was completely impossible to get to with a baby & pram! We had to ask to change rooms and the staff on reception weren’t apologetic or friendly at all!...
"We booked to stay at Rowton hall because we were attending a wedding. The staff were really lovely and very helpful Julie was exceptional as was another lady who helped us with our luggage. Annabelle on reception was also lovely, they really do have lovely staff, wedding bbq was lovely good choice of drinks, not exorbitant prices? Room was really lovely, nice comfortable beds. Thank you Julie and staff at Rowton hall."
"All staff were lovely and helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. Plenty of choice on the breakfast menu. My only criticism if you want to call it that is that the actual bedrooms & bathrooms are all tired looking. Could do with a revamp and a colour injection. Pool area also could do with sprucing up."
"Have to say the staff were good and very helpful and I have no problem with anyone working at the hotel. The atmosphere within the bar area was quite poor and the tv remote was broken so couldn’t watch sports.
The main issue I had with the hotel was the music piped in through the obviously knackered speakers which as so distorted it was painful to listen too. We actually had to ask the breakfast staff to turn it down and they agreed it was terrible. Until this is resolved I can’t see myself...
"Rookery Hall is nothing short of stunning!. What a place. Beautiful grounds, the building is amazing to look at inside and out, the staff can't do enough for you and the Spa to relax. Me and the Mrs were very sad when our stay came to an end. It's a no brainer if you want a peaceful, romantic stay with your loved one. Absolutely brilliant *****"
