"I strongly advise against staying at B&B Baron's House (Room 8). We checked in with our infant baby, only to find serious hygiene issues—specifically a strong, unpleasant smell of damp mold coming from behind the wardrobe, along with visible dirt behind the bed. Additionally, the room lacked the view we paid for.
We reported the dirt behind the bed to the staff, but even after leaving and returning later, nothing was cleaned at all. When we asked to check out with a refund to find a clean, safe...
"Extremely convenient location with a very kind host. The breakfast was lovingly and personally made, though there wasn't much choice, compared to most B&Bs or hotel breakfasts. The "mini-bar" in the room is a bit misleading, since it's only filled with bottled water, but the bottled water was a nice touch since the room is not air conditioned and can become hot in hot weather."
"Super vriendelijk onthaal, persoonlijke touch op de kamer. Je voelt je echt welkom. Wellness inbegrepen in de kamerprijs en tiptop in orde. Buiten- en binnenzwembad. Zeer mooie kamers. Gewoon top !"
"Absolutely fabulous stay. I would have given 6 stars if I could. The hosts were amazing and took such a good care of me including modified their meal schedules to fit mine!"
"Very charming and romantic BnB. The nature around the location is beautiful and calming, and feels like a true little get-away from stress.
The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating - they allowed late check in with clear instructions.
My only remark is that the breakfast could have been a little less expensive (23 euro) but it was fresh and filing, so we were still happy!"
"Cute little hotel in a pretty little town, with an exceptionally kind staff. We truly enjoyed the hospitality, great breakfasts, excellent bed and spacious bathroom with luxury toiletries. The area is great for biking and walking.
The only downside is a lack of air conditioning. Although a hotel provided a (rather stylish) fan, open windows translated into mosquito bites.
Also, beware as the parking is rather tight and if you have a bigger car, you will need all your backing skills!"
