"Beautiful exterior fit nicely within the surrounding area. Centrally located by Royal Mile, High St. staff was immensely kind and helpful. Thank you to Sara for going above and beyond. The room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom."
"There’s only one older gentleman that we found helpful his name is Alassdaier. Aside from that no smiling faces at the front desk. The room was filthy. Carpets stained, shower hadn’t been scrubbed and cleaned properly. Black stains on shower stall. Towels are dingy. Coverlet removed and stained decorative pillows. Lobby is nice but the rooms are lacking. I paid way too much money fora room with no working toilet or sink and no way to adjust the air. Told staff and they shrugged and said sorry. There are other hotels in the area. Best to try them"

The water pressure was low and nor hot in th mornings, and the sink and the shower had drainage issues. Also, it would have been helpful to have more lighting over the sink area, as it was difficult to see into the mirror with only a makeup mirror light .
