"The Leonardo hotel in Southampton is decent value for money. The room is spacious, and the staff simply amazing. Little if any noise gets in from outside so you’ll have a great night sleep, and the breakfast is very good for this price bracket. However the location is a bit… weird. If you’ve stepped off the airport bus (itself great value) at Giddy Bridge and approach the hotel it’s just… awkward to get into. "Had standard room and facilities as described, clean, couple of minor issues with condition of bathroom, but everything working. Staff welcoming and helpful, food at breakfast and dinner good. Outside of hotel needs refresh, but has nice postion by waterside."

"Clean room, very friendly staff, quiet rooms, couch and desk chair were very comfortable, had a reliable safe and mini fridge that held all our items needing refrigeration overnight. A great little stay for us before heading up to see the coastal causeway. It was across the street from the train station so very convenient for travellers such as ourselves. "

"The hotel was nice and modern in a convenient location. There is a pub n grill downstairs as well as a starbucks which i thought was very convenient for a good meal n some coffee. There’s also a gym with swimming n jacuzzi which however you have to pay to use despite being a paying hotel guest. My only complaint was that our room was not cleaned even when we put a sign outside our door asking for it to be tidied up. "Lovely hotel and reception staff polite and helpful. Overnight parking being £20 is too much and puts me off staying again. Another minus was the room was very warm but the air con is disabled so you can't even use it! Expedia lists air con as an amenity so guests should be able to use what they're paying for. Didn't get a good night's sleep as a result."
