"The pillows were clearly horrible, square like the ones you put on a couch. The bedding was too small for the single beds. Even when you order a double bed room you get two single beds. There are no King size nor even queen size beds, just singles either solo, apart or together. "The room and bathroom are very spacious, but it's time to renovate the rooms and furnutures. TV has very limited channels. Poor room and bathroom amenities. Make sure you scan the var code to get all hotel information as soon as you check-in. "Perfect for a quiets night sleep as the average age of residents are well into their 70s. Our room was tired and dated with marks on the walls and dust everywhere. Hotel looks like it hasn’t been remodelled since it’s original build. Situated on an industrial estate and near a petrol station, it’s very convenient if you wish to buy a car during your stay. "

"Very nice hotel and clean. Staff very friendly and food in the restaurant was very tasty, breakfast as well very good. In the room i have jacuzzi bath which that was very nice. room big and clean, small minus so aircon was switched off but room has a fan in the wardrobe so i managed to cool down the room. Free parking also available on this hotel. "

"The property is 350 years old and it shows, however bathrooms are up to date, the location is "the best", the staff is friendly and the food is excellent. The wine list is amazingly good and affordable. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station; taxi's are hard to come by."
