"Conveniently located just outside Lübeck's north city portal, Burgtor. It's just a few minutes walk into the altstadt with churches, squares, passageways, courtyards, and a variety of beautiful gabled buildings. Loved the breakfast at the hotel and the rainwater shower head. There are a limited number of free outdoor parking spaces which I luckily obtained. Lübeck is wonderful."

"We stayed one night. The bed was uncomfortable. Felt like an old mattress. Pillows were flat and hard. Thus a poor nights sleep. We were thankful the window opens for fresh air. The bathtub/shower combination is poor. The removable shower head is too low for the average person so either manually hold it or crouch down under it. "Schoenes Hotel, aber ich haette mir gewuenscht, dass es gluten freies Brot gibt und wenn nicht dann rechtzeitig Bescheid gesagt wird. Ich hatte extra nachgefragt. Ich bekam die Nachricht, als wir schon unterwegs waren. 12 Euro fuers Parken finde ich zuviel und die Miniflaschen mit Duschgel und Shampoo sind nicht mehr zeitgerecht. Abfall vermeiden mit Wand montierten Flaschen, finde ich deutlich besser. Davon abgesehen: schoenes Zimmer, tolle Lage, gutes Fruehstueck und auch eine sehr schoene...

"Great hotel in great location. Very helpful man checked us in. Spotless big comfortable room. Enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant, good selection of vegetarian and vegan meals as well as fish and meat courses. Would stay here again."

"The staff were extremely helpful and engaging at all times. The so-called gym is a room with four pieces of equipment and limited dumbbells (max weight 10 kg). There is no spa as advertised but the saunas and steam plus rest area were excellent. It's a pity that there is no outdoor seating other than a noisy smoking area."

"We have stayed at this hotel before and we chose it again as the views of the river are amazing. Huge ships sail up and down the river and it is a sight to behold. The room was comfortable and there are chairs and a table to sit in front of the huge picture window and watch the world go by."
