"Classy hotel that is full of charm and has a perfect location. Very good value for money. The cleaning staff and restaurant staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, however this was let down by the two women on the front desk at reception who showed no interest in helping you and were always too preoccupied staring at their phones all day. With the exception of these two women, this hotel is exceptional and highly recommended!"
"The hotel has historic resonance, and the heroic cleaning staff do a great job. Perhaps some of the nicer rooms have some character. But the front office staff is indifferent at best. The woman at the bar was almost hostile? This should be a treasure of the would-be UNESCO heritage site but is an embarrassment. Set up to accommodate group tours spending a brief night as they quickly traverse Senegal, it might just survive. But things could be much better. Beware the mediocre breakfast which is...
