"I booked here for hotel only on my way through town.
For the rates they charge it was not what I was expecting, it fell flat for me.
I wasn't allowed to use the pool, staff were dragging bins outside of my window loudly until 10:45pm.
My view was bins. I was told the only rooms with a view were the cottages.
The room was mediocre, it was clean but basic.
The service in the restaurant was great, the food was okay but nothing extraordinary.
A heads up you might expect a bit more for the cost...
"I had bigger expectations for this hotel.
On a positive note, the view is absolutely stunning. The exterior and the garden.
The room did not look like the images I saw. It was a bit of a let down.
I felt the woman on reception was dismissive and condescending to me.
I didn't get my room until after 4pm.
She told me my room was "almost ready" several times, which it wasn't. She even said she went to my room and the cleaning staff were in it.
If she was honest about the room's avail I could...
"The property was idyllic! A cottage on a hill with a spectacular view. Cows mooing in the evening and morning. Very quiet country road. Close to Giant Causeway and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge.
Also very close to Ballycastle so easy to get groceries for you.
The instructions left for guests were also very clear and covered the operation of showers, hot water etc
Highly recommend!"
"We had a wonderful stay here, the apartments are in an ideal location, right in the centre of Cushendall and walking distance to everything. Our apartment was on the first floor with an outdoor balcony area. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a few nights or a longer stay. We really enjoyed the stay, would highly recommend and will be back."
"This place is AMAZING! The views and location were wonderful. Everything you would need for a stay. I only wish we stayed longer. I made friends with the cows, Enjoyed a gorgeous sunrise. There’s even a CASTLE, just a few minutes walk down by the ocean. Nan, the host, even stopped and said hello before we left."
"We stayed here 20 years ago, but unfortunately this trip was canceled due to COVID19. We were not able to secure a refund. Hoping to visit again soon, though. "
