"It was a hot weekend & the room was extremely hot. A very small, ineffective fan was in the room but it made little difference. The room in the coach house was small & looked dated but it was clean. The staff were all very friendly and efficient."

"This is a really lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Fowey with a beautiful terrace overlooking the river and Town Quay. We spent hours on this terrace whiling away the heat enjoying a drink. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. We had a deluxe room which had a small terrace with river views. With only 14 rooms it feels very special and up market, but is reasonably priced. The best thing about this hotel, however, is the staff who are all brilliant. Being a small hotel they all chip...

"The room certainly needs updating, and cleaning, the flock wallpaper has dust on the upper edges of the flocking. Shower door bottom seal was falling off. One socket was unusable, no light switch reachable from the bed. However the cost was good which included breakfast and the host was friendly."

"The breakfast was good, and the people running it were nice and the breakfast room was pretty. Unfortunately that's where it ends, it didn't feel like a B&B, but like a hostel, the shower and bathroom were very dirty and absolutely tiny, it was nigh-on impossible to get into the shower the space was so small. I was also not given good information about which toilet to use (as in, I was told to use one which I later found out in the middle of the night was locked and I had to roam around to find...

"Very friendly staff - Nicky was fantastic- got up early Saturday morning to make us perfect porridge before our ‘Bantham Swoosh’ 6 km swim! Also loved their fish and chips the night before. Very comfy bed and great power shower. Great value too. 2nd morning we had their wonderful Full English breakfast. Can definitely recommend. Nicky went above and beyond. Thank you"

"We booked this accommodation as the reviews were very positive! But just a few days prior to our holiday we saw a review that said this property was sold and presently empty! Contacted the owner email/phone, no response. Contacted Expedia, finally got through to talk to a representative..but just said they would contact us 24hrs prior if the booking was cancelled! The owner finally rang us the day before our trip and confirmed our booking ..but not at the accommodation we originally booked! On...
