"Situated in an excellent location close to both the train station and the centre of the city, Hotel Elite was a good choice for me. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are some aspects of my room that were looking a bit tired. For example, the grout in the bath/shower tiles had signs of mildew and the gauze curtains at the door to the balcony had yellowed with age. "

"The La Couronne is in a great location in the middle of the main part of Solothurn, close to shops and local amenities (unfortunately, most of which are closed due to Covid). Car parking is at an off-site local car park just a few minutes walk from the hotel but is expensive. We paid over CHF 43 for around 36 hours. "Pleasant suburban location with restaurants and banks etc close by. The rooms are clean and modern but have no air conditioning and consequently very hot (in summer). Drinking water, tea, coffee etc is provided free in a shared communal facility on each floor. The church (very nearby) chimes every half hour even during the night which for some disturbs sleep."
