"We had a good stay. The staff were efficient and the amenities good. Breakfast was great and a good variety of dairy free / gluten free options too. Please note, the swimming pool and changing rooms are quite dated and look MUCH bigger in the pictures. Location is good near Eiffel tower, shops and smaller restaurants. Room was dated and in need of a refresh but we really appreciated the blackout curtains and aircon in a May heatwave!"

"I came at 4 to check in because that’s what it says check in time is… they couldn’t get me in my room until 4:25 after I complained. The frame which is the restaurant inside of the hotel… customer service is horrible. No one greets you we say for a good 15 minutes before we were finally offered a drink from the bar. I paid $180 to have someone bring me champagne and macaroons with rose pedals to our room at 9am…. Didn’t come until 9:50 and we then had to rush because we had to catch a train....

"I had a great week-long stay at CitizenM Gare de Lyon! I was in Paris for a week-long academic conference during what turned out to be an extraordinary heat wave. While colleagues staying at the conference hotel (from another well-respected hotel chain) complained about the lack of good air-conditioning, I was fresh as a daisy in CitizenM's excellent a/c. "Cleanlyness of our room was Very Satisfied towels replaced daily and Bedding freshly changed and made up. Staff: Checking in/Room Cleaning Staff were friendly and professional, My Brother and I were very disappointed on waking up to go downstairs for Breakfast serving cold already prepared: Eggs, Bacon, Sausages and Potatoes, and Coffee Machine down to make a cup of Capachino, Cafe Latte ect.ect., on the other hand freshly prepared Omelets/Sunnyside Eggs were the only Hot options on your plate....
