"The good points about the hotel were the breakfast, the staff, who were helpful and the rooms which were for the most part well maintained. We had several very positive interactions with the front desk and on the whole they met our needs. The location is pretty good and there is access to a sandy beach at low tide. "I travel a lot to the area around Guimaraes, but I found this new hotel nestled up in the hills and it is super. I'd certainly recommend. I've stayed twice and the indoor pool (and sauna/ steam room) are excellent, and the outdoor pool and view of the mountains in the distance is idyllic. Good food menu and room service (same menu, not a smaller one like in many hotels). Will certainly stay again."

"I will start with the service at the front desk. Wow! this is what hospitality should look like at every hotel. The front desk manager helped solving some problems upon arrival, since we were traveling by bike on the Camino de Santiago.
