"This is the oldest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. For a 4 star hotel, I expect the rooms to look like the renovated pictures but most of the rooms are very outdated and mold stains everywhere. Location was good though."
"The hotel is in a spectacular location in the heart of Venice on the Grand Canal adjacent the Rialto bridge. The hotel is over 100 years old and the building over 400 years according to the staff. The room is older with carpet, bed was good and"
"**Charming historic gem in the heart of Venice**
Staying at Hotel Duodo felt like stepping into old Venice. The building is historic and full of character, and the interiors are beautifully decorated with real attention to detail. Every corner feels elegant and warm, exactly what you hope for in a Venetian hotel.
The staff were wonderful. They were kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and they made our stay feel easy and personal.

"It's great location .Very close to the train station.Good restaurant .Very professional receptionists.Always willing to help the customers.Free airport shuttle is very useful.Only down side is house keeping .
Very lazy unprofessional cleaners.Who wants to spend their holiday in a pigsty? Not me for sure."
"The hotel has a great location if you’re looking for St Mark’s square proximity. Breakfast was nice. Just be aware the hotel has an annex and you may end up there. You leave the hotel, go down a short alley, through a small courtyard to their annex building. The room was ok but we would have preferred the main building. Breakfast is in the real hotel. Also, for those who care, English language tv is scarce and inconsistent."
"We stayed in one of the apartments owned and operated by the hotel and loved it! The unit was roomy and had a kitchenette with a fridge, hotplate and Nespresso machine plus dishes and pots and pans, everything you would need to make a meal. It was quiet, private and an excellent location. An excellent choice!"
"The price you pay for a 4.5 star hotel and you get a closet for a room a literally a closet and had to change room which they did. But the room that was given had an upsale with a total amount for the a 5 star hotel in Venice. The rooms do not look like the pictures they’re much different. Overall it is not worth the money at all. And really it just made Venice experience way too expensive and not good enough. "
"Very spacious room, comfortable firm bed, excellent rainshower with plenty of water pressure for washing my long hair easily. Location is perfect to be out of the log jam of masses of people and easily accessible by foot and water taxi. We purchased the 24 hr water bus pass and there is an on/off stop right outside hotel door. Staff at desk were very kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet offered many items and excellent coffee. The only suggestion is for an ironing board in room. Although they...
