Hotel is a former 100-year old mansion that has been beautifully and sensitively transformed into a boutique hotel. Each of the 8 rooms is individually decorated with the upstairs rooms being especially spacious. Room decor is reflective of the colonial era (teak canopy beds, secretaries, decorative antiques) with fully modern amenities (lovely bathroom, A/C, satellite TV). We had dinner and breakfast at the property. Both were delicious with spice levels matching guest preference. While...

this was a perfect boutique hotel. staff was helpful, room was very good and the restaurant had amazing food. there is only one issue that I had with the room - there were not enough sockets in the wall for a computer, phone, etc. the staff did bring an extra electrical strip but the connections were not tight enough and worked on and off. since there are only 10 rooms the staff gave a lot of personal attention

What a hidden gem. Hard to find but well worth it. The art is fantastic. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious!! Staff extremely accommodating.

GREAT location in heart of city overlooking ocean! I needed early check-in after 30 hours of travel and the lobby staff was very helpful. I will be staying here again & have recommended this place to my friends.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is excellent. We found everything in the hotel perfect: clean, big size room, great service and amenities. Overall, a great place to stay, away from noise and there’s a french bakery a block away that has delicious coffee and croissants.

The hotel puts up a cultural show that is amazing. It is close to everything and there is a lot going on around the hotel to keep you occupied. The staff goes out of their way to make sure your experience is great.

Absolutely loved staying here although just brief! I landed at 11pm and needed a room for a night before meeting family for a tour. The hotel was in a great location with plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. Galle Face Green and the shopping mall just a quick tuktuk ride north. The room, lobby, pool and bathroom were great! The desk staff were absolutely gorgeous and helpful and so lovely - it was honestly the warmest welcome to Sri Lanka and I couldn't have asked...

if i want to stay in middle of colombo city, this is the place to be ... near to all the major city points plus the property is exceptional well managed and true value for money!!!

after a week in Colombo i sought four hotels and stayed in two, all the cinnamon hotels do not compared to the room size, friendly staff and bathroom than the Ramada did. the stay in the Ramada was great, I wish I stayed there the whole week instead of the cinnamon lakeside.

service and staffs are excellent
