"Nothing has changed at this hotel for many years. Unhelpful staff from check in. Bar closed and just said plenty of others to visit in town."

"Great place to stay"

"Friendly hotel, helpful staff and great food. I'll be back."

"Good value for the price. Lovely large room and friendly staff on reception - enjoyed the Welsh cakes given on arrival. Nice seating area near the entrance to relax in."

"Unfortunately the pool is still out of action but that aside it was a good stay. Very helpful staff very clean and comfortable room, good breakfasts, jams at the toast area gets messy and sticky perhaps a re-think needed there, parking excellent. Only grumble was the noisy extractor in our bathroom it needs replacing, we used torches to use bathroom in the night so as not to waken our neighbours but we did report it to reception and hopefully it will be fixed for next guests. "The hotel was dated and run down. The room had marks all over wall and had a strong odour of damp. There were limited staff and the older lady at breakfast was really rude and huffed and puffed. The cups were disgusting all stained. Breakfast items kept running out."

"Always a wonderful place to stay in South Wales."

"Friendly staff, great breakfast, nice room and garden, great live music and eats at the pub, highly recommended!"

"Check in and out was very easy. The rooms are large. The beds are huge. The only issue is there is no parking and the car park operated nearby is expensive for 24 hours and we stayed for two nights. I think it cost 18 for 24 hours but it was very close. The location though is perfect. Bars and shops are all very close. The location made all the difference. So much so we are rebooking for June 2027."

"Lovely apartment, could do with being a little clearer about where to check in prior to the visit but the staff were helpful. Got charged an extra £50 on arrival which I thought was a security deposit but has actually been taken from my account with no explanation "

"Clean, well presented, friendly helpful staff and a decent breakfast! Couldn't ask for any more, was a great place to stay. We only stayed one night but would be happy to return and stay longer! Highly recommended"

"fantastic place"
