"Beautiful property, Staff went above and beyond in every way to accommodate and were extremely friendly. Had a great family experience here"

"Perfect stay. Location better than beach strip"

"we were looking for a hotel at the end of our trip and came here and were so positive surprised. This hotel is amazing. From the extreme welcome of the staff and the beautiful layout of the hotel you feel like you are on a jungle vacation. They have a super nice, clean and large pool area and we were there all by ourselves. they will give you a shuttle to the entrance of the Jaguar park, as well as a band so you can ride the electric transportation in the park to go to the national park beaches...

"The hotel scenery was beautiful to take photos or shoot content. Room was really nice. The pools were ok. Need to have proper lounge chairs by the pools. The shower heads in the rooms need to be changed. Hardly any water would come out but the tub was better to use instead. And it shouldn’t be so open the bathroom area since if wanting to bathe/shower in private. Nothing is covering that area. If wanting peace and quiet, it’s a place to stay at while in Tulum."

"Beautiful location, clean modern rooms, ocean front pool and staff super helpful. The hotel electricity is run with a generator so no hair dryers, mini fridges and some rooms do not have aircon. But if you are looking for an authentic beach hut experience this is for you. Be sure to bring insect repellant."

"Overall, we had a good stay at Hotel Kanan, and our room was absolutely amazing. However, the hotel itself felt a bit neglected and could definitely use some maintenance and extra attention. I understand that tourism may be slower right now, but I actually think this is the perfect opportunity to take care of the property and make improvements. One of our biggest disappointments was the beach. I completely understand that sargassum is a natural issue and difficult to control. However, there is...

"The Grand Suite is lovely and the staff responded quickly to communication. It was not exactly what I expected as the description shows “private pool” and “private hot tub”. There was no hot tub. The plunge pool was chilly (not a bad thing as it was very warm outside) but as it was located on the first floor, it was very visible from the windows of the surrounding housing units and from the windows of the upper level rooms. So, no skinny dipping or sunbathing as it’s maybe not public but it is...

"Nice room, great staff"

"We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it! We would recommend a rental car if you are wanting to leave the resort. This is not in the busy resort area, it's a little bit outside of Tulum. We really liked not being in the busy area. This resort was also the best value that we saw for all-inclusive. One thing to note is this resort is part of Framissima, which is a French travel company. We were not aware and were surprised that nearly all the guests were French. We also kinda liked that we...

"Everything was great about the property and we enjoyed our stay. Our only suggestion is more water in the rooms to drink because we were only given three small tiny 1/2 bottles on our initial day and they were never replenished and when we asked for more, we were told they would be refilled the next following day, but nobody visited for refill for eight days straight and we had to ask every day for new drinking water and ended up buying five large bottles of our own to keep in the room for the...
