There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "Convenient location to reach beach, restaurants and shopping as well as the ferry terminal and train. All walkable. Room was spacious. Shower was great! Breakfast was very good. Hotel staff was excellent. We didn’t like the immediate area outside the hotel which was dirty, garbage, etc. The “sea view” room we reserved didn’t have a great view due to construction. More a view of an adjacent parking lot."

"Villa Pulejo is a restored mansion that is beautifully manicured and very nice rooms. They are across the highway from the ocean but you can see it from your room. They have a very good buffet breakfast each day with a variety of items. We used their pool which was also convenient and a great amenity. The Villa seems very popular for weddings in addition to being a hotel. We were about 15 minutes from downtown Messina and the best way to get there was by taxi or car rental."

"Property was extremely clean,spacious and the staff were warm and welcoming. It was a great place to stop off after travelling from Rome down to Sicily. The free bottle of wine was a really nice touch!"
