"Comfortable big room, large bed, warm heating, kettle. Excellent hot and cold breakfast (including eggs and bacon, crepes, selection of local cheeses, yogurt, good coffee). Clean and well maintained. Right by the train station, very convenient location for taking day trips and late/early arrival or departure. "A fabulous building and site, which will be first class once they spend a few million on it. In the meantime it has well-refurbished rooms, excellent pool area and was a pleasure to stay.
One downside - they do not have a restaurant, although they do have a range of pre-prepared meals they will heat up and serve to you."

Résidence Lagrange Vacances Les Jardins RenaissanceAzay-le-Rideau
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (159 reviews)
"Neat, clean, modern facilities with relaxed staff. Small pool better suited to toddlers than teenagers. Easy to book tennis court. Arrived on heavily laden bikes and the hill up to the Residence was a bit of a killer after a long day in the saddle, but the comfortable house made up for it."

10/10 Excellent
Loved the hotel, the owner was so helpful and his suggestion for a French restaurant was the best French food we had while visiting France. Very clean, comfortable beds and lovely linens.
