"Gorges place! Best for relax. Great family owner. You should have a car to stay there. Parking is easy and free. Ideal position if you are traveling around south shore of Portugal. I had a problem with key fob battery, and the owner vent to nearest town to by new one for me!!!Thank You!"

"A very beautiful hotel. The room was lovely, and had pretty views. The odd thing was nobody was there except us and a little tour bus. When we arrived, no one at reception. It said to ring bell. No bell there. We called Ola a few times, and eventually someone arrived. Didn't say hello. The restaurant was not open, except for the included breakfast. Breakfast supposed to be 8-10. "The staff were lovely. Rooms spacious and clean. Pool area very nice with a bar area. A lovely little dog called Lilly lives there. Breakfast was very good. The area around it was undergoing some work, but I think that is very typical of Portugal I would go back. "
