"Not a jolly welcome…. But staff were friendly and answered our questions. Restaurant was very good for evening meal and breakfast.
Close to Montecassino which is well worth seeing. Also the CommonWealth WWII cemetery is worth a visit."
"WE LOVED THIS PLACE!
I can't say enough about our wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Le Rocce!
Everyone on the staff was so warm, helpful, and friendly. From the welcoming front desk ladies and helpful bell attendant to the beach and pool staff, waiters, and especially fabulous FABIO, who ran the terrace dining room, everyone made us feel right at home.
Perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, this hotel is paradise! We booked a balcony room and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a larger...
"The property is an old nunnery and the rooms are compact and the doors are loud when people leave in the morning. The beds and pillows are super hard. At least the rooms are air conditioned. It is 2 miles away from the historic, old city that is worth driving to and walking around. This area of the hotel is not worth exploring by foot. However, the breakfast was included in the room rate and was a 9 out of 10 served outside at the outdoor pavilion near the pool. We did not have dinner on...
"While our room was very clean, it did have old mold on the shower. This hotel is older, but it probably used to be very grand. One of the things we loved was that it included our own reserved umbrella and beach lounges. It also had a balcony with a beautiful sunset view over the sea. We couldn't get really excited about the breakfast, either, but it was definitely adequate. The small town was quiet and sleepy, not a party place. It was very reasonably priced and a good value."
"Great location to explore Gaeta and Sperlonga! The beach and water was amazing and so relaxful.
JThe renovated rooms were nice and very comfortable.
Only one option for dinner if you want to stay at the resort was the only drawback."
"Wonderful staff, and beautiful property. Would definitely stay there again!
Luisa and Ivo
"The hotel was perfect for our needs, it’s clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on what to see and where to eat. You can walk to the beaches, restaurants and up into the old town. There was adequate parking, a pool, a hot tub and a small gym. For the money we were very satisfied and would definitely stay there again."
"Breakfast ok.ish! Pool OK but only because we were the only guests in the hotel! Staff were ok until problems arose ... management were dreadful..
Cleanliness... well I slept for the first 2 nights on a filthy matress infested with bed bugs. "
"This hotel is fine. The pool is nice and the beach is great. The entertainment was lacking a bit. You have to buy a drink card to use the bar for either 10 or 25 EUR so no option to just buy one coffee or one drink. Bathing caps are mandatory in the pool which is fine, they provided one. The aircon in the room worked well. The hotel can use some major updates and Renos. The restaurant is limited and pricey for the food options. This was ok for a 2 day stop over on a road trip but would probably...
