"Another hotel whose glory days were long ago. This place used to be called Habsburger Hof and who knows, maybe Empress Elisabeth, Sissi, stayed here when she arrived by imperial train and made Meran popular with high society? Naturally, this hotel too would have had its own restaurant back in the day but now catering is reduced to a bar with some nice wines and coffee. Room spacious, bed good, shower OK, staff punctilious. Very convenient for people like us who arrive by train."

Comoda posizione soprattutto per chi vuole fare camminate ed escursioni ed anche per prendere seggiovia. Da migliorere servizio piscina (acqua fredda, teli insufficienti per gli ospiti a prescindere dall'orario e mancanza di controllo rispetto delle regole)."

"Ein superschönes Stadthotel an perfekter zentraler Lage. Freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht. Das reichaltige sehr gute Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch die 5- Gang Menüs am Abend waren sehr schön angerichtet und abwechslungsreich. Hervorragendes und sehr freundliches Servierpersonal. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Den Balkon konnten wir anlässlich des Traubenfestes hervorragend wie ein VIP-Platz nutzen um die verschiedenen Aktivitäten vor dem Hotel...
"This is an exceptionally well run hotel! The staff was very accommodating and helpful in recommending places to visit, providing directions and providing early morning breakfasts for an early departure. Hotel had a beautiful infinity pool and hot tub and was still open in October for guests. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Location was close to the old city as well as the train station."
"Dejà en arrivant, on voyait que ça les dérangeait que la réservation ait été faite sur Hôtels.com. La chambre ne correspondait pas à ce que nous avions réservé. Nous leur avons montré la photo d’hôtels.com de notre réservation et ils nous ont dit que ça ne correspondait pas à notre réservation ! Nous avons eu une chambre au 1er avec vue à seulement quelques mètres sur le bâtiment d’en face et au dessus du parking alors que la photo de votre site montrait une vue sur les montagnes. Dommage car...
"Das Hotel ist direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Hauptstrasse gelegen. Noch dazu handelt es sich dabei um eine Senkenkurve, was bedeutet, dass LKWs, Busse und andere Fahrzeuge dabei bergab (laut)stark abbremsen und anschließend nach der Kurve wieder (ebenso lautstark) beschleunigen müssen. Entsprechend hoch ist die Lärmbelastung, und das leider auch nachts. Geöffnete Fenster sind daher aufgrund der zehn Meter Luftlinie bis zum Straßenverkehr keine wirkliche Option. Selbst bei geschlossenen Fenstern...
"Unforgettable stay. The hotel was extremely pretty in a vintage way, reminds me of We Anderson aesthetics :)
Room was classy and well-maintained despite being able to tell it’s been around for a while. Not hot even without AC. The balcony was the prettiest of all!!!!
Food was just as enjoyable. Dinner was €35pp, a good 4-course deal. Breakfast omelette was simply lovely, almost ordered every day loll"
"The hotel was fantastic. Very quiet, wonderful to be surrounded by nature and only hear birdsong. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the facilities were spotless and there were some nice touches such as complimentary apples, spring water and even a hot water bottle. Great to have no television and the hotel's sustainability scores highly and is to be commended. This hotel deserves to be in the Leading Hotels of the World and we will definitely return."
